·         State Highway 31 in Corsicana, Texas with $9.4 million construction cost for TXDOT Navarro County District Office involved installing a proposed  drainage system and reconstruction of pavement 

·         Interstate Highway 45 in Corsicana, Texas with $850,000 construction cost for TXDOT Navarro County District Office involved constructing of entrance ramp to IH-45.

Construction Administration

Review contractor submittals, Request for Information (RFI), shop drawings, and field reports to ensure material specifications and plans are accurate, and contract obligations are satisfied.   Review and verify change order requests from contractors and sub-contractors.

 

Projects Include:

·         Northwest Rail operating service and inspection facility with $66.5 million construction costs for DART’s light rail transit system in Dallas, Texas including two-story building designed to support super light vehicles maintenance and rail operation dispatch functions.  

 

·         Administration, operations, administration, and fuel and wash buildings with $19.5 million construction costs with total of 48,000 SF for Victor Valley Transit Authority in Hesperia, California.

Assisted on 15+ highway and municipal construction projects, during summer internship, ranging from $5 to $64 million in contract value.  Subtasks included concrete paving, earthwork, base and sub-grade preparation, concrete flatwork, and structure work for highway construction.

 

·         Assisted surveying supervisor and CAD technician in coordinating plans used by survey crews to ensure limits and layouts for abatements, bents, columns, beams, and slabs meet TxDOT requirements.

·         Assisted surveyors in setting blue tops, paving nails, subgrades, checking control points, and laying out right-of-way stakes.

·         Digitized cross-sections and contour lines to check embankment and excavation qualities and performed mass haul diagrams.
